Amazon’s Hit Car Show is wrapping up its third series this week, and the end of this run of The Grand Tour also marks the end of one of modern TV’s most defining spectacles – three men sitting in a cold-looking studio expanse guffawing away to a willing and on-message audience. In short, the tent is gone.
