Tesco Readies Own-Brand Vegan Sausage Roll

All traces of sausage are to be removed from a new sausage roll option in Tesco bakeries next week, if a report from the underground investigative vegan newswires are to be believed.

The new “meat free sausage roll” appears on an internal Tesco bakery food preparation guide photographed by the sources of Accidentally Vegan, with the photographer saying the entirely non-meat sausage option is due to launch next week. Staff are being trained up on how to cook it, what it should look like, and told not use the meaty tongs to pick it up.
